Chairmans Message to the fans
The Railwaymen Supporters Society announced on Monday night that we have reached our target of raising £250,000. As well as the statement from the board, the society’s Chairman, Mark Beavan also want to share his own message:
“ It gives me enormous pleasure to announce that we have reached our minimum target of £250,000. The fact we have raised this money in just over three months, is truly outstanding. It goes without saying that this has only been possible because of the incredible supporters we represent.
Over 400 individuals, from all walks of life, have subscribed for Community Shares, which will now enable us to subscribe for our own shares in the new look Crewe Alexandra. I would like to thank every single one of you, for backing our ambition to not only support a community led football club, but to be an active part of it.”
