Railwaymen Statement on Ticket Refunds

Update from the Chairman of the Railwaymen Supporters Society – Mark Beavan:

Hi everyone,

The football club have now announced their refund policy regarding both match day and season tickets for last season.

It is a very challenging time for everyone at the club, and I wanted you to know they have been in constant dialogue with The Railwaymen throughout the decision making process.  We hope you agree that by offering refunds to everyone, they have done the right thing.

I want to thank those of you who have either donated your match ticket or have made it clear you will not be requesting a season ticket refund. There is no doubt, that your own incredible generosity helped the club to reach their decision and highlights yet again, the amazing community spirit this club is built upon. I for one will never forget it.

So what about next season?

There is a great deal of uncertainty surrounding the start date, how many fans will be allowed back into stadiums and how will matches be streamed.

Despite this, you are buying new season tickets in your droves.  Am I surprised? No.

This is your way of showing how much the club means to you. The club appreciate this and will do everything they can to ensure your support is fully recognised.

The early bird prices for season tickets ends on Tuesday 30th June and we urge anyone who hasn’t already bought one, not to miss out. We will also be promoting the sales through our own campaign, let’s spread the word and see if we can beat last years total.

As always, if you have anything you wish to discuss, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best wishes,

Mark
