The Railwaymen Supporters Society are pleased to announce that we will be holding our last Foodbank collection before Christmas at the home game with Gilingham on the 20th November 2021.
The Foodbank will operate between 13:00 and 14:45 before the game and will be located just outside the Club Shop.
It would be great if everyone could please dig deep again with their donations. Lot’s of familes will struggle towards Christmas and the donations that get sent to the Foodbank will make a real difference to them.
When the Foodbanks are conducted, the type of food that we require includes:
Cereal
Soup
Pasta
Rice
Tinned tomatoes/ pasta sauce
Lentils, beans and pulses
Tinned meat
Tinned vegetables
Tea/coffee
Tinned fruit
Biscuits
UHT milk
Fruit juice
In addition to that, any Christmas based food such as Advent Calendars, Chocolates or Christmas Puddings would be a great addition to help brighten someones day.
