Back in 2019 when the club gave the Supporters an opportunity to get involved in purchasing a part of Crewe Alexandra Football Club, The Railwaymen Supporters Society launched #Project250 as a way of achieving it. This was a roaring success and saw us welcome the first 455 members who purchased shares in the Society and enabled us to become part of the takeover from Norman Hassall.
Roll forward to 2021 and we have been through a lot. Promotion, COVID and waving goodbye to favourite players to name a few.
The Railwaymen Supporters Society are now in the position to welcome new members into the Society. The aim of this is to help give fans a voice in the club and the ability to vote on important matters that the Society are involved in.
Not only that, one of the key aims of The Railwaymen Supporters Society is to encourage the fans of the future. We are delighted to announce that we are launching the Junior Railwaymen Membership for fans under 15 years old. This is an annual membership within the Society that with the help of Crewe Alexandra and local businesses, will bring the fans closer to the club.

Adult Memberships:
In addition to the junior memberships, we can announce that we will also be accepting new and renewing adult memberships. Whilst this will not include the volume of shares that the Founder Members received as part of their investment, it will include a “voting share” in the society. This will give every member an equal vote and say in important matters that we get involved in.
The Adult Memberships will be priced at £10 per fan, per season or £100 for a 10 year membership and include the following benefits:
- Increase membership to give RSS a stronger voice.
- Be a member of a democratic society – one member / one vote.
- Stand for election to the RSS board.
- Voting rights at AGM.
- Invites to exclusive RSS members meetings.
- 2 annual Exile Zoom meetings
