2019 saw the launch of the Supporters Group food bank collection initiative in support the local charity, St Paul’s Pantry.

As a supporters group we want to reach out to the wider community and embrace the ethos of the football club being at the heart of the community.

Supporters Group Chairman Mark Beaven said:

We strongly agree with the Football Club’s & John Bowler’s philosophy of being a proud community Club.

Where else do you get 3000 people together, many of whom are from the local community?

We hope supporters will embrace the opportunity to help out local people by donating what they can to our food bank.

Mark Beaven, Supporters Group Chairman.

The supporters group is asking fans to fetch any non perishable items they can spare to the ground before selected home games.

The collection point will be outside the main ticket office, we will be taking your donations between 1pm and 3pm.

Below is a list of items that the local food bank is in need of.

None if this would be possible if it were not for the support we have received from members.

Food banks perform a vital function in a community and every donation we can pass on will make a huge difference.

We would like to place on record our thanks to the football club for allowing us to do this on a match day and helping us publicise the event.

We would also like to thank local businesses Gist and Mornflake for their kind support and donations.
